Storage Boats: Wild Goose

WILD GOOSE is a 41-foot centerboard cutter designed and built by Robert Derecktor in 1964 for his own use. An extremely capable racer, WILD GOOSE is still considered fast today. She has changed little since the Derecktor days but has been upgraded with new systems, engine, sails and spars. Her construction is unique with intercostal plywood between the frames, which is glued and screwed in place to the inside of the planking. The topsides are very fair and show no seams.
