Storage Boats: Primrose

PRIMROSE is a "Double Ender 15", a classic sloop for day sailing built in 1936. Designed by Aage Nielsen (of Sparkman and Stephens at the time), PRIMROSE was orginally built by the Simms Brothers of Dorchester, Massachussetts. She was substantially rebuilt by Steve Ballentine of Catuamet, Massachussetts in 1987 and 1988. She is a smaller sister to NORTHERN CROWN and SNOW STAR and sails out of Camden and Rockport.
