Restoration: Mary Rose
Storm-damaged 65-foot Herreshoff schooner repaired, launched July 2007

The 65-foot N.G. Herreshoff  schooner MARY ROSE (1926)   suffered damage to her hull topsides, rails, bow sprit, boomkin, and chain plates during a gale in fall, 2006 while in Fairhaven, Massachusetts.  Rockport Marine repaired the storm-damaged areas including some planking, new covering boards, the rig and parts of the interior. The deck was also recaulked.
