Storage Boats: Galatea

GALATEA, built in 1984, is a 39-foot extended “Nereia” ketch by L. Francis Herreshoff. She was built by Molly’s Cove Boatyard of Massachusetts. GALATEA is similar to the “Araminta” ketch but longer, narrower, deeper and heavier. She is very fast.
