Cruising centerboarder combines spirited performance with traditional good looks

This performance-oriented, keel centerboard sloop is designed for day sails and short cruises. The large cockpit will seat six adults comfortably and a fully battened main and self tending jib provide a simple yet powerful rig. She has ample sail storage forward, with direct hatch access to the foredeck to allow setting headsails and spinnakers without disrupting cabin use. Down below, the open cabin plan shown is optimized for comfortable lounging. There is enough space for a couple to enjoy a weekend cruise, avoid an afternoon rain shower, or share an evening meal with friends.

Melding classic design elements with modern hull form, this boat will offer spirited sailing performance yet look at home in a New England harbor. Cold-molded construction, laminated frames and painted finish keep maintenance costs down while highlighting the craftsmanship of Rockport Marine’s boatbuilders.
