Thank you to all who visited BERNICE at the Maine Boatbuilders Show! We were thrilled with the response to the recently restored, P-class yacht. Her official launch will be on May 15.

ADVENTURE (pictured left), a replica of a 17th century colonial ketch, has now been completely framed; planking begins shortly. ADVENTURE was commissioned by the state of South Carolina to be used for historical education. Designed by William Baker, she is traditionally constructed, almost exclusively out of oak.

The 32-foot pulling boat, IMI LOA, has been planked and glassed. The next step will be to turn over the hull and begin the interior. She is to be used for an experiential education program on the Kona coast of Hawaii.

Rockport Marine will next be exhibiting at the Wooden Boat Show, June 27-29.
