Storage Boats: Allure

ALLURE, a classic Concordia yawl, was designed in 1961 by Raymond Hunt and Waldo Howland and built by Abeking and Rasmussen in Germany. Rockport Marine replaced the deck with dynel and epoxy, and also stripped and refinished the exterior woodwork. ALLURE is a beautiful example of the difference careful maintenance can make, as shown by her finish work. She sails in Maine waters and competes annually at the Eggemoggin Reach Regatta.
